Alabama Medical License Service

The ALBME typically takes between 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 months to issue a new license.   As there are plenty of locum tenens needs in Alabama this tends to be one of our more popular states..

Like all other states, we try to keep your involvement to a minimum so you can spend time practicing medicine rather than filling out forms.

Once you approve our quote that includes ALL state fees, our packet is shipped to you after a short consultation. Sign, notarize, and proof your application packet and then return it to The Licensing Company with the requested copies, photos, and addendums. We will then submit forward the completed packet to the ALBME and follow up at least once per week with our contacts at the board. In some cases third party verifications can slow down the process but we will do our best to make sure nothing interrupts the critical path.
